simple bible study resources

onenineteenfifty

Onenineteenfifty was born out of a desire to help us pursue God through His Word with simple, thoughtful resources. Simple is our starting point, not our ceiling. Knowledge is a steppingstone, not the destination. Our aim is to know Him more deeply, pursue His presence, and let what we learn shape the way we live.

Psalm 119 Reading Plan

Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible and a beautiful acrostic poem in Hebrew. This 22-day reading plan walks through the poem one eight-verse stanza at a time, inviting you to grow in your love for God and His Word. Each day pairs a passage with supporting Scriptures to explore further. Reflection questions help you consider what you’re reading and respond through application and prayer. Use it with your SOAP Notes or a simple notebook.

About Me

I’m Melissa, the writer behind onenineteenfifty. I love studying Scripture and helping others find their way into it. During busy seasons of my own life, I was desperate for simple ways to keep opening my Bible. What I found changed the way I studied and eventually became resources I could share. My hope is that they help you study with confidence, ask thoughtful questions, and grow in your relationship with the Lord.
